I’m back!

I know that most of you have been gnawing on your nails in consternation, waiting for the return of my excellent and deeply thought provocative monologue. I’m back with more hard hitting material. I’m going to make you question your way of life, every choice that you’ve made , except the choice to read this, of course.

It’s been a long year and many changes, a multitude of things have happened and of course we’re still in this pandemic.

Both Runningfawn and I have had job changes, this may not be new for me but it was Earth shattering for her. She spent 11 years at her job, multiple positions and the respect of most of her co workers. The management within the company changed and they decided to clean house with anyone that was a part of the “old-guard”. She was sent packing, ungraciously, might I add. The company hasn’t been the same since the management change. The company has lost it’s heart and soul, it is just a soulless entity that wants to rape you of every thing it can.

Me changing jobs or fields isn’t new at all. I am now doing a concierge type job for a high end condo. There’s so many things that I want to say, but I am certain it would under a privacy/gag order. So suffice is to say that these units cost upwards of 7 figures, and the people are “pretty successful”. I like the majority of the residents in the building, most of them like me too. I find that some of the residents seem to perceive me as just a warm body, not really worth the time to show respect to. What do I know? That being said, I love the job, and there are so many residents that I definitely consider my friends.

We moved into a one bedroom apartment in large condo complex. I’m still healing from my surgery almost 3 years ago. Our kids have moved out, and one got married. A lot can happen in a year, yet deep down, everything stays the same.

So, I say to you, welcome back. I will be doing more entries each week, so stay tuned.
